It is not a new observation but it is one that is worth
repeating:
It is a tragedy how it is often easier to be civil and considerate
towards a complete stranger than towards the members of one’s own family. Those people we regard with the most
affection are also those we take most for granted.
And God I know I'm one.
And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season
we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do
good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. ~ Galatians6:9–10 (ESV)
